From festivals to the Old Port
Our story
Kaboom started as a travelling bumper car company. For years, we’ve set up at festivals, private events, and seasonal activations across Quebec — indoors, outdoors, even on ice. Our battery-powered cars travel light and work almost anywhere.
In 2026, we’re settling in for the summer. Kaboom Montréal is our first dedicated seasonal installation — a summer-long spot at the Old Port of Montreal, built so families and visitors can jump on a bumper car any time the sun’s out.
Why bumper cars?
Because everyone recognizes them, and everyone smiles the second they see one.
Our take is a modern one: battery-powered, quiet, clean, and safe — without losing the full-speed bumps and sharp spins that made bumper cars a classic in the first place.
Kids from age 3 can ride with a parent, drivers from 6 take the wheel on their own, and there's no age cap at the other end — grown-ups ride too.

A seasonal installation in the heart of the city
Kaboom Montréal opens May 7, 2026, and runs every day through September 7. You’ll find us at the Old Port of Montreal — walking distance from downtown, a short metro ride from pretty much anywhere in the city.
Sessions are 10 minutes each, $18.50 per person, and $67.67 for a family of four. No minimum booking, no long lines — just grab a slot and show up.
